Kitab Al Kafi Pdf Download

Kitab Al Kafi is one of the most important and authentic collections of hadiths (sayings and deeds of Prophet Muhammad and his family) for the Twelver Shia Muslims. It was compiled by Muhammad ibn Ya'qub al-Kulayni in the 10th century CE, during the period of Minor Occultation of the 12th Imam. The book consists of three parts: Usul al-Kafi, which deals with the principles of faith, theology, ethics, and Quranic exegesis; Furu al-Kafi, which covers the practical aspects of Islamic law and jurisprudence; and Rawda al-Kafi, which contains miscellaneous traditions on various topics.

Kitab Al Kafi is widely regarded as a reliable and comprehensive source of Shia hadiths, and has been praised by many Shia scholars throughout history. However, it is not considered to be infallible or authoritative by itself, and its traditions need to be verified and evaluated according to the criteria of hadith science. Moreover, some of its contents may reflect the views and opinions of the compiler or the narrators, and not necessarily those of the infallible Imams.

Kitab Al Kafi has been translated into several languages, including Persian, Urdu, Turkish, and English. The English translation was done by Muhammad Sarwar in 1998, and consists of eight volumes. The translation is based on the original Arabic text, as well as the commentaries and annotations of several Shia scholars. The translation also includes an introduction, a glossary, a bibliography, and an index.
